Light Bulb Final Report Instructions

So, here’s what Dr. Adams needs you to do to complete your obligations for the Light Bulb Award:

  1. Send Natalie Adams (nadams@ua.edu) a copy of your PowerPoint.
  2. Send her a final report of some kind by May 15, 2024. We don’t want to be overly prescriptive because your projects were all very different, but here are some suggestions:
    1. Draft of a research article that could be submitted for publication.
    2. An iteration of your final paper for NEW 495 if you incorporated your LB research into your NEW 495 final project.
    3. A reflective/summary paper in which you describe your research methods and findings and your reflections of what you learned from the project.
    4. Practical applications of your research for a real audience. This may take the form of a brochure, booklet, curriculum materials, handout, website, etc.
    5. A 3-5-page Executive Summary of your project to share directly with Jeff Levitetz. If you take this route, you should write in accessible language that explains what you did, how you did it, and what you learned.
    6. Other: She is open to ideas, so just talk to her about it.
